Congratulations to Pete Lelonek, this year’s recipient of the Caroll Ringgenberg Award.  This prestigious award recognizes a P&S staff member who was "instrumental in the development of facilities planning and space utilization on campus" and "recognizes extraordinary P&S staff members exhibiting constant and contagious dedication to and goodwill for Iowa State University.”  There is no doubt that Pete Lelonek fits these criteria to a T!  And although we are sure that all of you are aware of the impeccable job Pete does keeping MBB functioning in peak condition through all the various challenges an aging building endures, many of our more recent occupants probably do not realize that Pete was on board from the very beginning, helping with building design and overseeing much of its original construction.  The Molecular Biology Building would not be what it is without Pete!
