Ten 2025 B.S. Biochemistry Graduates Join ASBMB Wall of Fame
We are proud of our 2025 B.S. Biochemistry graduates who achieved Proficiency or Advanced Proficiency scores on the certifying exam by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). ASBMB is our Department's certifying organization; this challenging exam that assesses critical thinking and knowledge in biochemistry and molecular biology. The exam is taken by graduating seniors in late spring and scores are released in late summer.
ISU Biochemistry scores were above the national averages, reflecting the strength of our graduates.
2025 graduates Samantha Birkeland, Alison Decker, Avery Enriquez (Advanced), Carly Nichols (Advanced), Michael Reynolds (Advanced), Ava Roach, Anna Schwake, Madeline Stadtmueller, Timothy Stanley, and Elijah VanDer Kamp (Advanced) will be recognized on a plaque in the atrium of the Molecular Biology Building and celebrated at our departmental Fall Awards Brunch.
