Lab reunion

Friday, June 26, 2015 - 3:00pm to Sunday, June 28, 2015 - 12:00pm

The Nilsen-Hamilton lab opened its doors at ISU in September, 1982. Soon after, Fred Thalacker joined the lab as the first graduate student, followed shortly by Lee Bendickson. Since then, many people have come, stayed a while, often received an academic degree, and moved forward to a successful career. Now we are inviting our former lab members to come back and join us in a lab reunion over the last weekend in June, 2015.

In 2015, we had our second reunion to celebrate Pierre Palo's for 15 years and Samir Mehanovic and Muslim Ilgu ten years contributions to our research project.

We thank them and our many other lab members, current and former, for their research contributions and their contributions to the social network of our current and former members.

Our alumni and their families

June 20, 2015

Our alumni have moved on to diverse and productive careers. For those with careers in the experimental sciences, we can follow their publications. For others, we enjoy an occasional update on their career progress. We have had lab reunions to catch up with our alumni and occasionally we receive photos and news about their families.
