Our laboratory pursues two (2) independent research directions: Human antibody/receptor interactions (funded by the NIH), and a biochemistry approach towards generating biorenewable chemicals (funded through the Center for BioRenewable Chemicals (CBiRC) at ISU (an NSF ERC). We also benefited from the support of Iowa State University, the Lawrence H. Baker Center (ISU), the Center for Metabolic Biology (ISU), and the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust.
